I read a thread where someone said that the cover cannot be placed in the cradle and still charge because the rubber covers the battery contacts.
I don't have the phone yet but got my oem cover and the oem cradle and the rubber cover seems to fit in the cradle...... I was wondering if anyone had taken the time to try and cut out little holes in the cover to expose the metal contact and had success in getting the bold to charge while in the cradle. Or does is the metal contact not long enough to get past the rubber to touch the metal on the phone?

don't listen to them. rubber conducts electricity just fine ;)


just kidding, but are you sure it would fit in the cradle when the cover is on the phone? the rubber does stretch a little when it's on the device.

the metal contacts have to touch in order for the charge operation. The berries stuff is smooth or slightly inlaid with the body therefore the rubber prevents a touch contact. This is at least my experiencing with the curve charge pod
