Default Where is the application

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,

i installed a java application via .cod and .alx files on my Bold 9000 using the Desktop-Manager software. The installation was fine! The application is now listed at "applications" but only inside the Desktop-Manager. I can't find the installed application on the device itself!? I am pretty new to the bold, but i never had problems installing and using this application on my 8800. What went wrong? Do i need a special Bold-version of this application? are Bold-applications not compatible to other BB-applications?

Thanks for help!

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

It may be a compatiability issue with the OS as you stated. What is the App?

Have you checked in all of the sub folders on the 9000 - like in Downloaded or Applications?

Exactly as this is where it puts newly installed application icons unless you manually move them yourself.
