do you think its possible to put in that new javeline trackball into the bold? I hear its an improvement and it doesnt seem like they are that much different from all the others

As far as I know, the trackball assembly on the Bold can't be taken apart.

It looks like the Bold uses the same, slightly bumpy trackball as those devices, so my guess is no. Besides, don't you think someone would be screaming this out if the Bold has an optical trackball versus a mechanical one?
