Just got an upgrade to a bold, lovely!

Only thing is, does anyone know if the sim card contacts should sync with my Audi A4's in dash Bluetooth system? My Palm Treo did, no problem.

Anyone shed any light on this?

I think you need to copy your contacts from the sim to the BB itself

hi, tried that, and it still doesn't recognise. Looks like the incar phone systems on these register the numbers from the sim card. not the phone itself.

on the Bold there's an option under bluetooth to send the complete phone book via bluetooth. your Audi would have to have memory of some type to store the contacts thouugh..

do you know if the audi supports this?

hi, Where abouts is that setting? I've looked in Bluetooth, all I can see is Options/ Contacts Transfer: "All Entries" is that it?

Have you tried calling Audi?
I was able to call BMW on another issue with a customer and the issue got resolved. I am not sure what kind of tech support Audi would give you but I would start there... (unless someone out there has done this)

Also, from what I have seen, there are different capabilities even within a manufactures line of of models. For example, a BMW 5 series had less capabilities than the 7 series regarding phone book and bluetooth sync with BB.

I'm using my Bold with a Pioneer BT radio,
however the pioneer radio has memory for phone entries, as such I went to:

settings / bluetooth
I then moved the cursor over my Pioneer radio and pressed the menu button and selected transfer contacts

on the pioneer radio I have to put it into a receive mode to receive the contacts prior to doing this though

Does the audi have any option similar to this?
