Default I notice frame skipping in Brickbreaker.. perhaps the Bold OS is not finely tuned yet

It's interesting.. when I first started checking out Brickbreaker, I felt kind of blah because 600 mhz, a small screen, and the ball has laggy ghosting like the lcd refresh can't keep up. Which confused me because much older handheld units on much slower cpus did not seem to have issues.

Well, I've since been noticing every so often, when you release the ball it will glide smoothly without any chopping. Perfectly smooth, every frame being drawn. Then as it approaches the bricks, etc. it returns to choppy redraws.. it never stays smooth for longer than a second and only on ball releases.

One time I was playing brickbreaker while a page was loading in the background and the ball started lagging and teleporting badly, which is indicative of massive frameskip.

So I am thinking the BB os does not multitask nicely.. I am wondering if this is a fixable problem as it'd be nice to see the BB as a possible gaming platform also, or if it'll always be like this and one should not attempt to play motion games 'smoothly'.

Is this something that can be reported to RIM as a bug? I'd like to see butter smoothness..
