I did mine today the same way. The browser will NOT work, but if you go to your downlaod folder, you will find OpMin program in there, and you need to open the file and it works! Not the greatest, but better than nothing! I actually went and bought a cheap wireless router just so I could download the OpMin program! :( I could not find an un-secured hot spot around!!
Good luck!

Rob

Follow these step to load generic browser service books and get the BB browser working on EDGE/GPRS: HowTo: Get All Features (WAP Browser, MMS) Working on T-Mobile USA with Unlocked Bold - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com

The easier way is to not have a Browser or use Opera Mini.

This has got to be one of the best pieces of info I have found on here in awhile!!! Thank you for finding this. I have been asking about this for months.
