Question Converting iTunes Video Downloads (m4v) to Playable Format?

Please Login to Remove!

Just tried loading an m4v file I downloaded from iTunes onto the Bold using mass storage mode. When I went to play the file, I got an error message saying it was an unsupported format.

Can anyone point me to a program or steps to take that will allow me to convert iTunes videos I purchase into a format that is playable on the Bold?

Thanks

You're going to have some issues with DRM protected content. You might try Tunebite... I believe that works with DRM files.

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks.

I assume that installing the Roxio software that comes w/ Desktop Manager won't do me any good? I would prefer to not install it if possible. Hate Roxio software - always seems to run tons of crap in the background.
