Due to business purposes, I cannot part ways with Sprint at the moment. However, I do not want to wait a year, or however long its going to take *Sprint to get the Bold.

So I'm thinking about purchasing an Unlocked Bold, but I wasn't 100% sure rather it'd work on my Sprint Network or not ... Unlocked Experts let me know! Thanks in advance.

No. Unless the Blackberry Bold incorporates some CDMA technology, the answer is no. The Bold, at least for right now due to it being exclusive to AT&T is a GSM device. Sprint uses CDMA technology. They are two separate technologies. Hope this helps. If the Bold is unlocked, it will work on AT&T and T-Mobile as these two wireless carriers are GSM technology based.

I am curious, the blackberry 8830, which is a world phone uses cdma and gsm technology. Since this phone works on Sprint, will a Blackberry Bold which uses just gsm technology work on the Sprint network?

No. The 8830 has GSM that uses 900/1800 Mhz frequencies, which is used outside North America. It is meant for business people that go to other countries where Sprint has roaming agreements. The Bold, in it's current form, will never work on Sprint...unless Sprint ditches CDMA and moves to GSM.
