I just picked up a Bold and have been setting everything up. Yesterday I had no problems with the email notification, but today there is no audio notification just the LED and icon. I checked the profiles, all emails are setup correctly. I did a battery pull. And I searched online for an answer. Couldn't find anything.
Yesterday I did a restore from the old Blackberry (Pearl 8100).

Ok just now, even the LED does not flash!

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem with my curve, I tried finding an answer and no luck, ill PM you as soon as I figure it out.

Double check that your "Out of Holster" setting is not "None".

Which can be confusing since setting the volume to anything other than "Mute" would make one think they should receive an audible notification. I noticed that most of my "Out of Holster" parameters were set to "None". Perhaps a bit counter-intuitive to require the combination of two settings before you actually get the audible notifications but that's what I ran into as I was dealing with the same or similar confusion that you guys are experiencing.

I figured out whats wrong, well in my case. I went to BIS and changed the device, then resent the service books. That fixed the problem. BIS still listed the old BB thats what was wrong. It was so frustrating! I was ready to toss it out the window! haha
