I used to have the same problem when I was running .162, I tried again after reading this (I have upgraded about week ago to .190) to see if anything changed and it is working now!

I hesitated to upgrade to the Bold from 8770 unit, but boy am I glad to have upgraded!
The screen resolution is so much better and being able to play some home videos on the unit is very nice on that nice screen. With the Micro SD support and 3.5mm earphone jack, it also makes for a great mp3 player when needed. The external speaker is loud and clear enough to play the songs in the car while driving! Having the physical keyboard is wonderful no matter what the IPhone and Storm lovers say.

So far, the only real disappointment has been the video recording indoor. The camera exposure setting is simply too low to pick up the scenes even with the light turned on the camera. Oh well...a minor issue really for my use cases.

Form factor of Curve is better while the weight of 8770 was preferred as it gives much more steady feeling in your hand, but again, not a significant issue.

I really like my Bold!
