Hi, at times my Bold's LED indicator blinks red even when there are no new messages, or when new ones have been read. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

mine was doing the same thing when I had call logging on - where all your incoming calls are reported in the MESSAGE icon as new "messages".

Turn off call logging and it should take care of that problem imo

There are plenty of apps that hook into the blinking LED. GMail, Twitter, Facebook and JiveTalk are four applications I have that will kick off the light (unless I tell it not to). Perhaps other apps are kicking it off?

Also - depending on the theme, there could be SMS messages that have arrived but are not listed with other e-mail messages.

Thanks for all the suggestions:
1. I already had call logging set to None
2. My Bold is fairly clean. New I set new JiveTalk msgs to blink my LED Purple, which has been working.
3. It could be the theme - I am using BOLD Today Plus OS 4.6. Though, I have SMS messages Combined with my Inboxes

I'll keep experimenting.

I turned off all my lights except for the red light when I have a message/missed call/mail/etc

I figured it out, it was the GMail Application. I just needed to turn off "LED Flashing" for the Profile.
