Does anyone know why if you go to Contacts - Options, it has General Options, then a section called 'Contact Lists'? What is the point in this section - does it allow you to have more than one list of contacts?

I looked at mine and yes this would have listed all your address books. How you get more then one in there I don't know but I'm assuming that the devices are designed for future in mind and that some day you could have multi BES registrations and all address books would be listed there.

Did some research and came up with the following which might be useful for others if they are asking the same question as me. I added this to some documentation I am writing:

Quote:
Open the Contacts icon, press the BlackBerry button and choose Options.

You will see that there are two parts to this menu. The Bold allows the user to maintain multiple contact lists, if there is more than one email account associated with the device. For example, the user might have a company email account and a personal email account provided by a third party. If both accounts support contact synchronisation, some settings can be set independently of other contact lists.

To configure settings for a specific contact list, select it under Contact Lists. If the device has been activated with a PNAB, only a contact list titled Desktop will show (in the place of Default, as shown above).

The settings in General Options apply to the all contact lists.
