I have really enjoyed the Bold- and after 2 days have only 2 questions that I am hopeful someone else has experienced:


1. Is there a way to stop the keyboard from being locked automatically?

2. When I recive a text message it shows up both in the message folder as wel as in the SMS and MMS folder- when I read it in the message folder the icon for the SMS folder still appears until I read it in the SMS folder- is there a way to disable the SMS folder??

1. Yes, Option > Security > Password. Disable the Password (unless it is locked to required it by your BES Admin if you are on a BES) and Lock HH Upon Holstering = NO.

2. Go to your Messages folder > Options > General Options > SMS and Email Inboxes = Separate or Theme Controlled.

Thanks- I apprecaite the response- on number 2- if I want to use only the message box should I set it for combined or sperate or theme controlled.

If you want email, sms, mms all to go in the same inbox [ie. message box] them "combined" would be the answer.

Personally I spearate them and have one of the convenience buttons set up to open sms / mms message box.....But YMMV on how you like it!
