Default Is a Non Blackberry Extended Battery Safe to use

It appeas that Fommy sells an extended life battery not made by RIM. Are there any concerns with using a non RIM battery?? Thanks

I would not use a non-RIM battery in a RIM device....but that's just me.

How many mAh is it supposed to be? Seidio makes/sells good quality extended batteries and they are coming out with one for the Bold. However they say it's 1650 Ah and the OEM is 1550 so that's not much more power. If you really want a bigger battery you'll need one with a bigger battery cover like Seidio makes for the Pearl. I'd avoid the one you are considering. It's probably a cheapo make and no better than what you have.
