Hello all,

New to BB so sorry if this is a basic question, though I did read all the FAQs!

I work for a large enterprise, and have been added to the BES. I've followed all the instructions, and it would appear that my phone has recognised the BES as in the Security>General Settings area it has my company's name next to IT Policy Name.

However, the Enterprise Activation screen just says: Status: Initializing Activation. It's said this without changing for quite some time now...

On the PC, in the Blackberry Device Manager Properties box, it shows my server name, state: connected, ping < 10ms, but the Server statistics and Device Statistics all show Packets/Bytes Sent/Received ZERO.

Help! Any ideas?!

PS - Am using a Bold, which is not corporate standard... could this be affecting it? I presumed the Bold would be the same as the standard Curve... Eeeek....

You will just have to wait. What I found in my experience is that if you have a huge amount in your Phone log it will take longer to activate. This is just what I have seen and experienced. With completely new users the activation is usually pretty quick, no baggage to download.

Are you doing a wired activation or a wireless activation?
