Default Browser/background/battery drain?

Please Login to Remove!

Question: if we activate the browser, and then don't "close" it, and instead just flip to a different program, does the browser continue to be live in the background, possibly adding to battery drain?

thanks

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Hit alt+esc to see what apps are in your background. You can't close the native browser.
