My bold won't play utube videos of any kind. I get a message, "An error has occurred attempting to play media". I haven't tried any others except for the preloaded ones which play fine. It doesn't seem to matter if I'm on wi fi or 3G.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've checked and rechecked all the settings I can think of.

I've tried from the site as well as trying some that were sent to me. Same error message.

are you using the Blackberry browser? i have been able to watch youtube vids with no problems, using 3G and/or wi-fi, but had to use the blackberry browser to do so.

In the browser, go to options, then select general properties. Then scroll down and UNCHECK the switching to WAP for streaming media.

That should fix it.

I am now able to play in 3G, but not with Wi-Fi enabled. Very weird.

i am unable to play vieos as well. It will switch to the media player but then never play. I am on BES and was wondering if this was shut down or any suggesstions you may have. Thanks
