Is there a way to place an application in the Bold menu? When I downloaded a application on my Pearl, it popped up among the other menu icons. With the Bold, you must first access the Downloads Folder in order to access the application that you want. It not really a big deal, but accessing it from the Menu would be a lot faster.

Yes, go to the downloads folder and scroll to that app > Menu > Move to Folder > Home.

Then you can move it around the Homescreen to where you want it to stay.
