Default Lost the BB browser after Opera Mini?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I seem to have lost the default BB browser after installing Opera Mini. Right now the phone only shows "Media Net" and "Hot Spot Browser" as available browsers.

Opera works fine, but I can't seem to set it as default either.

Does anyone know how to reinstall the BB Browser? Did this happen to anyone else who installed Opera Mini?

Thanks!

-Stoney

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

For the bb browser, click show all to make sure it is not there. If not, first resend your service books. Opera can never be your default. Only the BB Browser

Thanks, got it working with that advice.

Yeah it definitely wasn't there (the BB browser).

I went into Settings>Optins>Advanced Options>Service Book and scrolled down to WAP2 BrowserConfig. Select>Show HRT. Right click on the first entry "Cingular [####..]" and Register Now.

After about a minute, BB Browser reappeared. I also received a Message confirming registration.

Magic.

Thanks!

p.s. I think the BB Browser is better than Opera Mini.
