When the bold comes on after being in the alarm / sleep mode the keyboard is locked- is there a setting that keeps it always unlocked- is there a reason I may want to have it locked? Thanks

if you are a pocket person it will stop accidental key presses so your not calling China or one of your speed dial contacts. I have a password on mine so I have no idea if it locks the keyboard on bedside mode. I don't see any options to lock the keyboard on charging. The only thing i can think of is you have the keyboard lock on in security settings. Go to Options > Password see if anything there is enabled. as well on the Bold the A key if held will lock the keyboard. are you by chance holding that when picking it up?

Well what about that damn clock? How do I get it from popping up all the time? I would prefer just to have my background image as the "screen saver".

Well under the clock you can go to options and where it says "When Charging:" you can set that to either Do Nothing, Display Clock, Enter bedside Mode those are the only options so far though.

Just hit the back button to get rid of the clock when you plug it in.
