Ringer profile conundrum

When I plug my device into my computer it changes the ringer profile to AT&T ringer. Most of the time it switches itself back when I unplug it. Sometimes it doesn't. Any advice?

If you have found a way to change profiles on charging your god. Let us know how you are doing it :) I know under Profiles > Advance you can add exceptions that allow you to allow a way switch profiles based on a user that contacts you. see if you have some custom entry in that field. Because there is a default Important Calls that you can delete but you can never add back in...

The issue is not changing profiles. The issue is it changes itself ONLY while plugged into my computer. Not while plugged into a wall charger. Weird

Yeah that is weird. I have never herd of that happening. So is it when its plugged into your computer and you get a call while its plugged in that you hear that ringer?

yes

It is normal if ...

If you keep your ringtones on the SD card, everytime you connect it to the computer (if the card is mounted as a volume) the data on it will not be available to the BB. The profiles will reset to the default ones. As soon as you unplug, the SD card content is available again so your profiles come back to the customized version.

Um go into beside mode or hit the blackberry button while in "this charge mod" and select one of the options...The default is to while in charing mode put in to bedside mode.

I have never had this issue while plugging into a computer only while in a wall charger. But I have it directly connected to a wall charger unless i'm backing up as the usb trickle charge is LAME!

Make sure your while in clock mode the option is registered as:
When charging: DO nothing
