I have paired my BB Bold with my car phone system. It will ask me to connect "Yes/No" before I can use the car phone the first tme. On my old cell phone I clicked "auto activate" under bluetooth options and never again had the connect question. I simply can not find the same kind of button on the 9000.

I beleive if you scroll through the bluetooth options, select the device and edit the properties to have the device as trusted, it will auto connect.

Assuming you are already paired with your car system follow the instructions below for auto-activation when your vehicle starts up.

Go to "Manage Connection", click "Bluetooth Options", go to the "device name" for your car, click menu button and choose device properties. Make sure where is says "Trusted:" is set to "yes", click menu, click save and go back out. That should allow it to automatically connect to your car when you turn on your car.

Also check "Set-up Bluetooth", "Connect On Power Up" is set to "Yes".

finally found it myself

this is only for when you turn on your phone that it will try to find your devices. Its really annoying every time you hard reboot your device you get a failed to connect to X message. I don't think i have ever turned on my phone in my car. Its always on for me.
