XM Radio on Bold?
Has anyone have any luck downloading the XM Radio software on the Bold.
I am on Rogers Wireless with version 220.127.116.11
I don't think XM has a Bold version of the app ready. Maybe when all the new stuff with Sirius blows over.
But I stopped wanting since I found flycast. :)
I have an XM icon on my Bold.
Here's the deal: even though the XM icon is on the Bold, and you can access the preview and even subscribe to it, it is all messed up (constant dropping, speeding up, slowing down, error messages) because XM does not, as of now, support the Bold.
Per XM Radio tech support, ATT is putting the icon on, even though it isn't supported yet.
I called AT&T to complain, and they refunded my subscription and told me they would bring it to the attention of the "highers-up".
I think it stinks that the customer service reps at AT&T (not to mention the customers themselves) are misled into believing these phones are XM ready.
That's good info!
Try this on for size...
FlyCast - Now your smartphone is complete
It has tons of music stations and this works wonders on my bold and the best part... Its free!
Does anybody know how to remove the XM application from the Bold? It's probably a service book, but it isn't one that's named in any directly recognizable way.
(I have FlyCast and Nobex Radio Companion - when I tried the XM app on my old Pearl, I didn't find the music I like among their offerings).
Does flycast have any am stations?
Is it really free?
Put those tiny stereo speakers to WORK!
Still the best sounding cellphone speakers EVER- including the 3G iPhone (I have one.. to hand down to my Son).
Just did the flycast thing, thank you very much, and yes...am stations, not sure if I can find my angels baseball, but found a lot of talk radio I was interested in...what I find!
