. Using handheld browser Once downloaded I opened google maps and scrolled to bottom and clicked accept. Went to settings and refreshed the GPS. It gives me my location within 3 meters. My two cents.
i had to do the same thing on my curve when i first got it.
go to options > advanced options > make sure GPS data source is set to device GPS, GPS services is set to location ON, and wait for it to show your coordinates, after which when you go to google maps it should take a few seconds then display your location as a blue dot with no ambiguity circle
