Unhappy caller id problem.....please help...

Please Login to Remove!


i am using bb bold for more than a month..and has been upgrading os from 125-->162-->167-->185
there different issues on each os but the only problems on each os is sometimes the same person caller names doesn't show up when there is incoming call even though i already saved it on my contact list..



does anyone know how to solve this problem???

Be sure they are actually in your address book. And check if their name shows in the call log or if the number does

If you have Content Protection enabled, make sure the address book is excluded. Here is why:

If your Bold is locked and a call is coming in, it can't read the address book because of content protection. Only if the Bold is unlocked while the call is coming in or if you have excluded the address book from the protection, it can access the address book and display caller id information.
