Hi everyone, i just got my Bold yesterday and so far i have lost the signal to "SOS" about 10 times. I have stuck my sim card back into my Samsung and have no trouble. Each time it does it with my Bold i have to keep powering down and then start up again. Sometimes its ok for about 5 mins then others its longer..whats wrong ??

Hope somebody can advise. I have to let you know im in the UK by the way.

if you got it to work fine with your network (ie. not locked or anything) and it still happens, its prob a phone issue.

i back this up with the fact that other phones work fine.

try and turn off your 3g and see if that helps anything. if not, id go back to the store and complain. lol

thanks. ive contacted my Internet Provider O2 and they reckon its maybe because my simcard is possibly not 3g compatable. Theyre sending me a new one. if i still get the same SOS ill be doing like you say and sending the fone back !
