Default Missing Application Icons

Please Login to Remove!

Hi
I installed a couple of applications google maps, facebook, ny times etc. All the applicaitons seem to have installed and show up under applications in settings->Advance Setting-> Applications but I cant find the icons. I have tried show all and it doesnt work either.
Any ideas how this can be resolved?

Have a look in the "Downloads" folders. Oh, and before you ask, yes you can move it.

While in the folder where the icons are, click menu, then click move to folder and then select where you want them to go. I'd ASSuME home.

I'm haviing the same issue. Downloaded a few things, installed them, and one minute the icons are there, and the next they aren't.

I have the same issue, but I don't have a download folder! I have search all over my menus and folders to no avail! The apps (Facebook, Myspace and BB Maps) show in my apps list, but are no where to be found on anywhere else. I am running OS 4.5 on a AT&T 8300.

I updated to 4.5 yesterday. I was way behind on my OS (4.2). I had Facebook on before the upgrade, but now it is gone. I added Myspace after the upgrade, it has never appeared!

Any advice on how to locate these?

Did you push the menu key and click on show all, maybe it's hidden.

Yes, I hit "Show All" and that folder did not appear. I even activated the default theme to see if that was an issue, but that did not work either.

Have you tried a battery pull? Or synching from the Desktop Manager?

I did a battery pull and have sync'ed, but still no idea where these program icons are. I have even uninstalled them all and re-downloaded (after a battery pull) them all, but nothing.

I am at a complete lose!
