I'm going travelling really soon and I was wondering if I could use my Blackberry bold overseas?

So,
1st qtn: Is Blackberry Bold quad-band?
2nd qtn: Does that means it can be used, almost everywhere?
3rd qtn: How about Israel? Europe?

Help! Thanks
