Default new with bold, PLEASE HELP!

ok, so i just got my bold yesterday and im experiencin some problems.. i shall write it all down here..

1. installed fb application, but wouldnt signed in. the username n password is correct, it just kept sayin that 'contacting facebook' but it never loads. never signed in.. im trying to reset the hp, but what do u mean by reset. should i just del the appli and re-install mobile facebook. how to del appli? pls help!

2. i want to install other appli like msn messenger, i was told i could go to mobile.blackberry.com. but when im there, there nth to click.. it only appears:

blacberry HELP! website is deisgned bla bla bla..

and then below theres an image like windows screen shot but its jus an image, i cant click on it or anth..

and the the copyright sign..


what should i do??! is it my phone? i heard alot of bb bold had to be replaced!!

Go to your browser, and open Options and look for the emulation. Set it to Blackberry (I'm betting you've got it set to Internet Explorer)...

This will likely fix both problems...

It's already set to BlackBerry.. urgh.. now i cant even use the browser, says smth like cannot use the browser, try again later. if persists, contact service provider
