Default Mobile Connections

There was another post earlier that said you had to enable Mobile Connections for the triangulation to work on GPS, but I can't find anywhere on how to enable it. I tried the search function on this forum and the help menu on the BB, but haven't been succesfull in getting it to work.

Thanks.

as far as i can tell A-GPS (assisted global positioning system) uses the mobile network to help get a fix quicker on satellites. but if u are on the phone and connected to the network then mobile connections are on... is your gps not working, or is it not getting a lock in google maps or BB map?

I just upgraded from my 8300 and I'm still learning all the ins and outs of this fantastic piece of technology. I installed Google Maps and did some practice directions and found my location OK. What threw me was the post that said "Mobile Connections" needed to be enabled. Since I didn't remember enabling it, I thought maybe I missed something. If it's picking up my location and giving me good maps and directions I guess I'm good to go. Thanks for your help.

This is definitely the coolest phone I've ever had, and I've had some cool ones. I can't imagine how what more I could want (yet!)
