Default Australia with Rogers Bold

Please Login to Remove!

I live in Canada and have a Rogers Bold. I will be in Australia in December for 3 weeks. How do I keep my charges for international email, phone calls, text messaging etc. to a minimum? Do I need to do anything or just use as is?

Call Rogers and let them know where you are going and ask about a 1 month plan for international roaming.

or turn off data while roaming. So no internet, but SMS & phone would still work.

I'd tend to keep data services off and enable it once or twice a day.

Option > Network > Data Services.

Also check who Rogers have the best data rates with? sometimes these fluctuate between carriers.

If you have a roaming plan snap it up, most dont offer these though
