Default Speed Dial Issue

On my BB Pearl, the Speed Dial numbers were assigned a number. Now, on the Bold, the phone numbers are assigned a letter, A-Z. Is there any way to change the letters to numbers?

Nope, that's the way it works on the full keyboard device.

If you want a speed dial for lets say #6, can't you just save it as F (6 and F are the same key)?

Agree all the numbers can double as letters so what ever number you want assign a speed dial to use the Letter that is on the key with the number.

Default Keeps asking me if Assign speed dial key

I cannot dial a number sometimes bec BOLD keeps asking if I want to assing speed dial key, I say no and it keeps asking. I had ATT do hard reset and reloaded, it stopped doing it, then I accidentally touched some keys when I was handling the phone and it started asking again, WHAT DO I DO? There is no option to turn speed dial off, I never use it, want to turn it off

Sounds like you are trying to dial from the homescreen; if this is the case you may need to turn that option on.

Go to Phone > Options > General Options and ensure that Dial From Homescreen is set to YES
