Default Convienence Key Problems

Please Login to Remove!

I've just run the test app (Options -> Status -> Type "test"). And its confirmed my suspicions - my left convienence key only works when I press it hard - very hard in fact! The right works fine with a light touch - as do all the other buttons/keys and the trackball.

Is this likely to be a hardware fault? or could it be a dirty contact etc that I could clean myself?

Pack it up and bring it back if it's something your going to use on a daily basis !
I just tap on mine lightly and they work, if your within the 30 day return policy, bring it back. No reason to pay for something that is not 100% out of the box!

Same here I take mine out of the case and I hit them. I am always yelling at the "Say a command" woman cause I hit it all the time. She never does what I ask though...

I actually bought mine off eBay - but have it for a few months now anyway.

ha ha! I have mine set so that the left one opens my messages and the right one opens the browser. Its very useful - however not so useful when one button isn't working!
