Help, I'm frustrated

My new bold doesn't seem to want to send sms messages, I type them press send and they just sit there with "- Pending
" coming up. Can anyone tell me whats up? This is very frustrating.....

When something goes wrong batery pull, twice if you have to
That dosent work you can delete service books and send them back.
Unless you just recently updated your OS and deleted one 2 many files in that case re-install OS, wipe device and reinstall OS
That dosent work call your service provider.

Thanks, yep pulling the battery did it.
Must say I think its a bit crappy that 2 days after getting a new phone I am pulling the battery to reset it...........
