Default Uncaught exception

Please Login to Remove!

Every time I make or receive a call and end, I ge the following message: Uncaught exception:java.lang.NullPointerException. I click "OK" and all seems fine. But why is this happening every time with my brand new Bold! Thanka for any help.

Could be something corrupted in the OS. If a battery pull doesn't straighten it out and the problem keeps happening, you might want to upgrade your OS to .185 or even .190. The stock OS that comes pre-loaded on AT&T Bolds is usually .167 and can have some stability issues.

Thank you very much for the help -- so far, this works! I'll look into how to upgrade the OS as I get more used to the phone and -- especially -- if this problem recurs. Thanks again!

I got that same error and it crashed my Bold. If I were you I would take it back. It was a known issue with Blackberry.
I have had three Bolds so far, each of them with a different problem. The second one the toggle wouldn't work after one day.
But the third one is working fine and I love it.
