Default Is BB Messenger really the problem?

Please Login to Remove!

I am having battery issues, not making it through a full day on a charg.

I have it set to EDGE (not 3g), 10% brightness and not many 3rd party apps.

i do 75 or 80 emails a day and maybe 40 minutes of phone

the only thing I use heavily is BB Messenger.

I have the latest 4.6.0.160 on it.

should I resplace the unit? or could it really be due to BB Messenger?

Even if it is running.. I use the snot out of my phone with 3G and I can get more then a day. If your device is new then either a you never charged it fully when you got it or it is just a defective battery. there is no way on only edge that your device would last less then a day.

I don't that that's the latest OS.

I am running 4.6.0.190 and my battery life is greater than 2 days with loads of BB Messenger use on 3G.
