Question Muffled Sound?

Please Login to Remove!

I picked up my first BB last Wednesday, and have been learning how everything works. I have been told by people on the other end of my calls that my voice is muffled. Anyone else experience this, (and have a suggested fix), or should I take it back to the AT&T store for another? I have the rubber BB case on it, but my wife said she detected no improvement when I took that off.

i had the same problem with a case i bought, made the hole near the mic a little bigger and the problem was fixed. in your case however you're saying that it doesnt matter if the case is off or on. that could be the phone.

Default It was the phone...

after I talked to my manager yesterday afternoon, (I work remote), and he said it was horrible, it was back to the AT&T store. Problem solved, although I have to tweak this one now.

Default Storm muffled sound

My new Blackberry Storm sound was muffled...everyone was complaining. I went in and swapped it for another one...and "poof" problem solved. Apparantly some of the production has an issue with the mic. I will say the sound I hear is better too. Phew!

Well, my second Bold had a loose battery, causing it to reboot every time it was jostled slightly. Less than 24 hours after I got that one, I took it back and got my money back. Two junk Bolds in less than a week was enough for me to look elsewhere for my next phone.
