Default Bold issues (Desktop Manager: update, language files, desktop image) and battery

Please Login to Remove!

Hello.

I have a blackberry bold. Its actually my sencond as Rogers sent me a replacement, my first would "reboot" everytime I would barely knock it.

Here are my current problems:

Everytime I sync (usb cable) and BB desktop manager, the device will check for updates, attempt to load 4.65 and then synchronize (address book, etc).

I have two problems:

a) it will reload the 4.65 everytime I restart BB desktop manager and it will try to load / next time remove / then load / then remove...... 3 language files (I don't need or want). Also, once the sync is completed my desktop saved image will reset to the rogers image. The file is stored in the main memory (I acutally don't have a memory card).

b) while this unit does not do it as much as the previous one, on occasion it will reboot if I knock it. Previous unit was when I would knock it near the convenience button (the one configured by default as camera); now its near the "remove cover button". Any idea if this is isolated to my unit or is happening elsewhere?

M.P.

The program is already BB Desktop Manager 4.6

The languages are Danish. Swedish and Norwegian. + Black Berry fast predictive input

The install that comes after is "Blackberry CORE Applications 4.6"

I would suggest that you upgrade to 4.7 and then upgrade the phone operating system software to the latest .190 version. Desktop Manager itself won't help you much with the phone stability problem. You need the upgrade of the phone software to be loaded on the phone. I hope that helps you.
