Default About 3G / GPRS

I launched the browser while i wasn't connected in any Wi-Fi, so i suppose it connected directly to 3G. As a result i wasn't charged from my carrier. Is that normal? :S

It's normal if there was no data transferred. Did you just open your browser or did you actually hit a website?

That doesn't sound right then. I didn't think you could get a 3G signal without having a data plan.

I remember when i I didn't have a data plan. I was told by an ATT rep that with any text messaging plan 2MB of data transfer was included. However, the organization fails to document that on end user information. Again, most everything i say is YMMV, considering I do not have a bb on hand.

*if necessary I can bring documents to my workplace, scan, and post it here.
