I just experienced something weird. Last night when I went to bed I left my bold on the USB charger which was on my computer (mac) thinking it would charge till full. It was on 95% when I left it.
The computer was turned on as I was copying some files to a hard drive.

But when I just checked all of a sudden my entire battery is drained it seemed.. Has anyone experienced something like this? I now put it on the travelcharger into an electric plug and it is charging again, but I just don't understand why this happened. Any thoughts?

the only thing I can think is that it did not detect a voltage on the cable and was not charging at all and by morning our glorious battery hog did its toll on the battery.

Actually I am one of the few people (or so it seems) that have no issues with the battery life. Normally when it is at 95% when I go to bed it will be around 93% when I wake up, so not too bad. It certainly shouldn't be empty... Maybe it was just one of those famous once in a lifetime things.. I'll try it again when I have time to recharge it in the morning in case it is dead again...

Not sure if this is true for the Bold, but I do know from my own experience that the old 7230 could not charge from a PC's USB port unless some of the BlackBerry drivers were present on the PC (ie Desktop Manager installed). The PC chats constantly with the Blackberry until the battery is totally exausted...
