Default Sent Messages from BB does not show in MS Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BB Bold 9000, and using Internet service. All the mails I receive in my MS Outlook shows on my BB, but trhe messages I send from my BB does not show at my MS Outlook.

I have read to look for advance settings on the Desktop Manager, to check "Save Copy in Sent Folder", but there is no such Email Settings in my Desktop Manager.

Really appreciate the support,

They will not show up in your Outlook unless you are on BES.

I would agree with the following 2 contradictions

If your email account is IMAP I believe it will save sent items in your send items folder and then sync with your IMAP clinet. (who uses IMAP any more)

Or if you have OWA (Outlook Web Access) it will also do the same. I have been off BIS for so long though I can't remember how it use to work with OWA.

If you add a filter in your BIS account for the email account(s) that you retrieve via Outlook to "Auto-BCC" emails back to the email account you are editing, all emails written on the BB will come down with Outlook. And, if you set up a filter in Outlook to move mail from yourself into your Sent Mail and mark it as read, this will simulate email synchronization.

Not the most elegant solution, but it works. Set it once and then forget about it.

Unfortunately, I do not have BES yet ...but anyway... I do use OWA setup with my BB and if you send a message from the phone with OWA configured in BIS, BIS will add the sent message to your OWA sent messages...
