Default Sort order of icons on my BlackBerry? (new BlackBerry 9000 Bold)

Please Login to Remove!

Re: BlackBerry 9000 Bold

Hi

How can I :

a) change the sort order of icons on BlackBerry device's home page?

b) change the sort order of icons under the menu button? (with the 7 dots on it)

(apologies for newbie question, but I have looked everywhere!)
With thanks

The 6 icons on the home screen are the same as the first 6 icons on the secondary home screen. (when you press the menu key). While on the secondary home screen highlight the icon you want to move, press Menu > Move > scroll to where you want it > click the trackball. So, to change the 6 icons on the home screen, just move the 6 you want to the top of the secondary home screen.

You can move your icons around by highlighting the icon you wish to move, pressing the menu key, and selecting move. You can then put the icon wherever you would like it.

supportforums.blackberry.com are support forums on the official Blackberry site. Blackberryforums.com is an independent community also run to answer questions, but is not affiliated with RIM.

Wirelessly posted

And I do not know of a way to customize the menu under the BB button other than "short" and "long" which are options.

I believe he's talking about the second home screen with all of the icons that you get when you press the Menu button.
