Default Cant sync with my BDM

Please Login to Remove!

Hi.. just got the Bold a bout a month ago. Liked it... except Fido screwed up my BB paln but that is another story....anyhow... got back to the office today abd plugged in the Bold and thought could auto sync with desktop but it didnt.

Went into "My Computer" and saw 2 folders there... one is with my Bruce BB and there is another fold ( like a mass storage ) I think it belongs to my Bold because when I click into that folder I saw m=bunch of sub folders etc. I think my Bruce BB is like a mass storage??

I hope I am explaining the issues properly.

Thanks guys, please help!

Bruce

You have to have Desktop Manager running in order to sync your contacts, calendar, tasks, and memos. Unless you are on a BES, then it will sync wirelessly.

Is "Synchronize" greyed out, or it just won't let you open it?

What is on the screen of your BB? It sounds like the Desktop Manager is hung up while checking the status of your device. Are there any pop ups on your PC in the background that need to be clicked on. (i.e. user permissions, etc...)
