Default call quality on BB using AT&T?

It has been over 1 month since I switched from Verizon to AT&T.

My previous phone was Motorola (about over four-year-old), and there was no problem at all. I just don't like that Verizon doesn't have various phone models.

In my experience, blackberry bold, itself, has many good things. But call quality is very poor compared to my old phone. I always hear the sweeping sound during a call. Sometimes a call dropped.

Is it from BB bold or AT&T carrier?

Maybe VZW is more reliable network like a TV commercial, although AT&T has more bars, but not reliable (poor quality).

It all depends where you're at. Where I live, AT&T is great, but Verizon sucks, and T-Mobile is half-way decent. It could be that you have a weak 3G signal and the call drops when the 3G signal is lost.
