hey my friends Blackberry is not getting any internet
she has a data plan
latest OS
everything is set but no internet
i tried putting my sim card in and the same thing

any idea?

What do mean by "no internet". Is the browser missing? Does she have the browser and she's getting an error when she opens it?

Can you be a little more specific as to what the issue actually is?

Then that means that she's in an area that has data available, however; her account is not provisioned with a data plan. Pull the battery, and if it doesn't come up, then she needs to call her carrier.

If it's not working even with your SIM card, then it must be a device issue and she'll need to exchange it.

You may want to try to re-register the device. Go to Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Menu Key > Register Now.

You may be SOL. Have you called the carrier to verify that this is a valid device and has not been reported lost or stolen??

They can look up the PIN and IMEI and see if it has been flagged in the system.

It's 1 of 2 things:

1) Account provisioning issue.

2) Device issue.

Either way, you'll have to call the carrier to find out.
