First, do you have a BB data plan?

Second, go to Media > Pictures > Highlight the picture you want to send > Menu > Send as MMS.

Thanks. I was hoping for a way to send it right from the camera app. It does give the ability to send as email but not mms.

Default MMS pictures

Hi,

One thing to bear in mind is that you may need to change the size of the image in the camera app for MMS images. I tried for ages to send MMS with no success until I reduced the size and quality of picture. That should work.

Actually, now that I look at your instructions above it still does not give the ability to send as mms. My only option is to send as email.

I changed the image size to small (640 x 480) still no menu option to send as mms.

That is weird. When I take an image and click the small envelope I get tte option to send via e-mail, MMS or to Facebook (I have the Facebook app installed)

I am afraid I don't know the answer to this one unless your carrier needs to enable MMS on your BB

Yeah, my options are email, mms, messenger contact, or myspace.

Thanks for all of the feedback. It turns out that my company disabled mms from the server side due to some bugs with content encryption. Mystery solved..

Oh, so you're on a BES?? That makes sense. The IT policy is restricting you.

That's definitely one of the perks of being the BES admin...

Yep. IT is waiting on a code fix from RIM. Once they get it deployed they'll enable mms again...
