Default Device Switching Issue in DM 4.6

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have a weird problem where I had a 8800 that was working up until a OS upgrade and then I nuked the OS but I was able to back up my data before hand. Now since I broke the usb port on the 8800, I ended up getting the new Bold and was wondering how the switch device process works? Do I need to have the old 8800 working to be able to migrate my BB stuff over from the 8800 or no? Is only having the LoaderBackup file enough to move the contacts and other minor stuff over to the Bold?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (8310; RammerJammer!)

Yes you should be fine with the loader backup. Especially if that is all you now have accessible.

Go ahead with it. It's a standard issue.
