I am having problems shutting down the wireless upgrade application on my BlackBerry Bold device.



When it first ran, it was able to show the latest upgrade donwload. After trying to download the upgrade, it failed and mentioned that i should download it using the Desktop Manager.



Now the Wireless Upgrade is continously running..I tried Soft/Hard Resets but no use.

Does anyone know how to close it or shut it down? Or atleast any other to make the device go into factory mode.

Has your carrier or Company released a wireless upgrade? If not my understanding is it wont work. You should try a battery pull and see if that fixes the problem.

I say backup your info on your Bold, then flash your phone with DM to a new firmware or the one your using
