Default Can't get mobile.blackberry.com on Bold?

Why is mobile.blackberry.com not available on the Bold?
It shows up in tiny writing, the same way it does when I try to go to it from my computer since it is a site for mobile phones.

Wirelessly posted (9000)

Try changing this:

In browser, goto options, browser configuration, and set browser identification to Blackberry.

Does it show this: "The BlackBerry HELP! website is designed for use with the BlackBerry browser. Learn more about BlackBerry here. "

I had that problem, on Tmobile UK, phoned the tech guy and he said "yes I see the problem, im sending the right stuff to you now. the phones are supposed to come with everything on them, but sometimes they dont."

Its something to do with a service book missing; until I got it I couldnt access mobile.blackberry or use blackberry maps.

Default Can't access mobile.blackberry.com on Bold

You said you talked to a tech guy. A tech guy with Blackberry or your service provider? I couldn't find a tech support number for Blackberry that did not require signing up for a paid package. Is that what I have to do? How can I contact tech support about this?
Thanks!

Default Can't access mobile.blackberry.com from my Bold

When I try to access mobile.blackberry.com from my new Bold, I get the following message in very tiny writing:

"The BlackBerry HELP! website is designed for use with the BlackBerry browser. Learn more about BlackBerry here. "

This is the same message you would get if you tried to access this site from your computer instead of your phone. I asked the ATT guy at the store why I could not access it and he tried accessing it on the Bold that was on display in the store and it did the same thing. So he told me that they must not have configured the site for the Bold yet, but that can't be right since other have said that they have accessed it fine.

What support number can I call?
I had a problem with sending and receiving emails earlier this week, could not set it up, and the ATT guy said he sent service books to my phone, then I was able to do it.
So I thought that would have put everything on my phone that I need.

Yes I talked to a tech guy on my service provider.
Try using Blackberry maps, and if a message saying something like "can't connect without BIS or BES" comes up, then you dont have all the right service books.

Call you provider, talk to a tech guy, NOT customer services, because they wont necessairly know what your talking about, and explain that you cant use blackberry maps or get to mobile.blackberry.com. They should then see that you dont have the service books, and send them to you.

I've had the same problem on the 8900, I searched to get to this thread. I'm using BIS (the email through the carrier, not corporate server) and I've managed to solve the issue by going to the Blackberry Internet Service page (where you configure the accounts to use) and select the option to send the Service Books.

After that it only worked AFTER I pulled the battery and started the phone again.

That should help anyone with that problem who is using BIS.
