| Yes I talked to a tech guy on my service provider.
Try using Blackberry maps, and if a message saying something like "can't connect without BIS or BES" comes up, then you dont have all the right service books.
Call you provider, talk to a tech guy, NOT customer services, because they wont necessairly know what your talking about, and explain that you cant use blackberry maps or get to mobile.blackberry.com. They should then see that you dont have the service books, and send them to you.
