you messages are stored on your phone. As they are both BB you can use Desktop Manager and thers on option to switch data from one BB to another

To get email, if you are on BIS, you will need to log into your BIS account and enter the new IMEI and pin and resend service books. If you are on BES, your BES Admin will have to set up the new device in BES for you.

Use the Switch Device Wizard in Desktop Manager to move things from the old device tot he new one.

I am also a new blackberry bold customer. What you will soon discover is that you can not block calls. Go to antair.com for software that allows you to do just that. ATT will try to sell you a $4.99 a month deal to block calls. With antair you pay one time for the software and they allow you to use if for free to see if you like it.

I was nervous the first time I switched Blackberries that all my stuff would get lost, but like mentioned the Device Switcher in Desktop Manager is AWESOME!! It'll back up everything for you! Plus it is WICKED easy.

Plug in your Curve and your Bold and open Desktop Manager. Click the transfer wizard and select your Curves pin to transfer from and your Bolds pin to transfer to. Not in front of DM so I'm not sure the exact wording but it is easy once you open DM and click the device transfer section.
